Shop Love: June

After seeing them featured in many ootd's of my favourite youtube gurus i checked out regal rose and i am in LOVE! It's good quality, affordable and they have a wide range of styles, i will definitely think about buying something when i can get my basket down to a reasonable price ;)  These are some of my favourite pieces:

The necklace is probably my favourite as i love crosses and is so versatile and will look great with collared shirts and dresses. I've been looking for a hand chain for a long time and this one is great because it's very simple and will not get in the way. I love that you get three ear cuffs in a pack at such a great price. I think i will go with the lighter cross colour but again i love this because it's so simple yet such a statement piece but at the same price as the 3 ear cuffs it's a bit steep for me! For comparison my double cross ring from Topshop was only £7
Necklace: £16
Hand Chain: £11
Ear Cuffs: £11
Cross Ring: £11

Sigh, Prom Time

Well, it's that time of year again. Prom is in five months and my friends are already buying their prom dresses. UnFortunately for me, I am missing prom because of a long deserved holiday. But nonetheless i am getting in the spirit of things and gathered some inspiration pictures of what i would of worn to prom.
The First dress is a cocktail dress [i'm not sure of the designer] but i love the ballet style and the black pattern on the bralet, such cute colours too! I Couldn't resist the elegant detail on both the second and third dresses. And who wouldn't want to look like Taylor Momsem for the day! The third dress is very princess-like and the colour is rich and gorgeous!
My advice is to be individual, forget generic prom dresses, stay away from prom and bride stores and spend as little as possible! Search vintage stores or even ebay, why not make your own? Endless possibilities. Why not suggest a theme with your friends? GO all out and pretend you're the richest preppiest tweens in london, walk around harrods and harvey Nichols and take inspiration from Alexander McQueen or Vivienne Westwood. Have fun with it!
